01Who can use TestSwap

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding agreement. One account per person. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

02How seats work

• Earning. You earn 1 seat when you test another developer's app and they approve your proof screenshot. Developers have 24 hours to review a proof; if they don't, it expires and no seat is earned.
• Spending. When a tester reserves a slot on your app, 1 of your seats is held. It is spent if their proof is approved, and returned if the slot expires (30 minutes without proof), is cancelled, or is rejected.
• No cash value. Seats are a record of testing exchanged on TestSwap. They can't be bought, sold, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for money, and they have no value outside TestSwap.
• We may correct seat balances that result from bugs, abuse, or proofs later found to be false.

03If you list an app

• You must own the app or be authorised to run its closed test.
• The app and its listing must follow Google Play's Developer Program Policies and the law. No malware, spyware, deceptive apps, adult content, or apps that collect data testers wouldn't expect.
• Your Google Group and opt-in link must let testers join. Review proofs honestly and promptly. Don't reject valid proofs to keep a seat.
• You can list 2 apps on the free plan. Your app shows in the directory only while you have at least 1 seat and open tester slots.
• You give us permission to show your app's name, package name, description and note on TestSwap so other developers can find and test it.

04If you test an app

• Join the developer's Google Group with the Google account you use on Play, opt in, and install the app from Google Play.
• Your proof screenshot must be real, recent, and show the app's Play Store page with your tester status. Don't edit or reuse screenshots.
• Stay opted in and keep the app installed for at least 14 days, since that is what the developer needs from Google. Use it the way the developer's note asks.
• Treat unreleased apps as confidential. Don't copy, reverse engineer, or share them outside the test.

05Things you must not do

• Create multiple accounts, or use bots or scripts to reserve slots or submit proofs.
• Submit fake or misleading proofs, or trade approvals with other users to farm seats.
• Uninstall or leave a test right after earning a seat.
• Harass other users or use their contact details for anything other than the test.
• Interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or scrape it.

We can remove listings, reverse seats, or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why.

06Paid features

• Unlimited apps is a one-time payment that removes the 2-app limit on your account.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay, and Stripe emails you a receipt.
• If a paid feature isn't applied to your account, email us and we'll fix it or refund you. For other refund requests, email us within 14 days of purchase. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law.

07No guarantee from Google

TestSwap is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google Play and related marks belong to Google. We can't guarantee that testers stay opted in, that your closed test meets Google's requirements, or that Google grants your app production access.

08Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, including listings and screenshots. You give us a licence to store, display and process it only to run TestSwap. Screenshots you submit are shown to the developer of the app you tested.

09Disclaimers and liability

TestSwap is provided “as is” and “as available”. Apps listed here are made by other developers, not by us, and you install them at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or data loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10Ending your account

You can stop using TestSwap at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused seats end with the account and aren't refundable.

11Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as TestSwap changes. If a change is significant, we'll show a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use TestSwap after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Hatchmoon is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
