Privacy Policy
This policy explains what TestSwap collects, why, and who can see it. TestSwap is run by Hatchmoon, which is responsible for your data. We collect only what the seat exchange needs to work, and we don't sell it or use it for advertising. See also our Terms of Service.
01What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from our sign-in provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive only these basic profile fields.
- App listings. Package name, app name, description, note to testers, tester target, and your Google Group link.
- Testing activity. Which apps you reserve, when, and the result; your seat balance and seat history; and in-app notifications about these events.
- Proof screenshots. Images you upload as proof. They usually show a Play Store page and your Google account picture, and may show other details on your screen, so crop out anything you don't want to share.
- Payments. If you buy a paid feature, we receive the order ID, what you bought and the amount. Card and billing details go to Stripe, our payment processor, and never reach us.
- Technical data. Our providers process IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site, keep you signed in and prevent abuse.
02Who can see what
- Everyone. Your app listings, your display name as the developer, and each app's tester counts.
- Developers of apps you test. Your name, your email address and your proof screenshot, so they can match you to their Google Group and Play Console tester list. If you join their Google Group, Google also shares your Google account email with them as a group member.
- Only you. Your seat balance and history, your notifications, and your payment history.
If you list an app, you will receive testers' names, emails and screenshots. Use them only to run your closed test, and don't add testers to mailing lists or share their details.
03How we use it
- To run your account, the directory, reservations, proof review and seat balances.
- To process payments and apply paid features such as unlimited apps.
- To show you notifications about your apps and the apps you test.
- To detect fraud, such as fake proofs or multiple accounts, and to enforce our terms.
- To answer you when you contact us.
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on performing our contract with you for running the service and payments, and on our legitimate interest in keeping TestSwap fair and secure.
04Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure, set by Clerk. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
05How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, listings, screenshots and notifications within 30 days. We keep payment records and a minimal seat history for as long as tax law or fraud prevention requires.
06Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@testswap.live. We'll reply within 30 days. You can update your name, email and picture yourself in your account settings. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
07Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, and sign-in is handled by Clerk, so we never see your password. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell affected users promptly if a breach puts their data at risk.
08Children
TestSwap is for developers aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
09Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and show a notice on the site.
